

Dupont was built in 1906 as a town centered around an explosive plant and is located only 22 miles from Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The city has a current population of just over 2,400 people, and homes for sale and rental homes are available in two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations. Educational opportunities are available through the Steilacoom Historical School District which operates all the public schools in Dupont.
