Washington State located just 31 miles south of Seattle. Weyerhaeuser Corporation gave the city a major boost when it brought the railroad to the city with its transportation of lumber. Tacoma is the second largest city in Washington State. The current population of Tacoma is just under 200,000 and is currently the third largest city in Washington State.
